The Alpha F2 is a model with character designed to capture all the subtleties of vocal music. The loudspeaker’s exceptional imaging gives a new dimensions to music listening. The bass and important midrange frequencies are rendered perfectly due to two mid/woofers equipped with diaphragms made of hard stiff natural materials. This is supported on top by an Alpha F3-class tweeter. Best sonic results come from positioning the Alpha F2 so that the upper mid/woofer aims at the listener’s ear.

Parts inside the F2 model are just as in the Alpha F3 and only of the linear kind. There were no compromises in the F2 project R&D. Thanks to the high-quality drivers, a powerful two-way system became possible. Thoughtful solutions enabled the tweeter playing the highest registers with great freedom whilst creating a wide soundstage. Reinforcing braces inside the Alpha F2 enclosure are similar to the top model Alpha F3 just as is the downfiring reflex port that vents into the speaker’s plinth which doubles as an acoustic element.

Jazz vocals and modern music represent one great features of the Alpha F2‘s sound. Music simply breaks away from the boxes and is presented in an incredibly wide stereo image. With the sizeable enclosure volume there is also full and accurate bass. The bass of the Alpha F2 beats many other loudspeakers in its class.
